Things to see and do in Orkney
Orkney Bedsits are located in the heart of Kirkwall, within walking distance from town centre attractions and facilities including local shops and supermarkets. There are also an excellent variety of places to eat and drink within easy reach, from cafes and takeaways to restaurants and bars.
Visitor attractions within easy walking distance include St Magnus Cathedral and The Orkney Museum and there’s also a Tourist Information centre. Out of town you can find lots more attractions including Skara Brae, the Ring of Brodgar and The Italian Chapel as well as a host of beautiful beaches and spectacular scenery to explore.

If you’re staying for a bit longer and want to explore further afield, it’s definitely worth considering a visit away from the Mainland to some of Orkney’s smaller islands. Day trips are available to many islands with transport by air and ferry.
